Adam is the owner of several service related businesses throughout New Zealand, including an accommodation provider, national hospitality training company, corporate café /catering company and suburban bar/restaurant.

Adam is also involved in many business associations and not for profit entities, including SKAL international (member), Mary Potter Hospice (Sponsor / ambassador), Eco Reality Society (board member), HER Business Awards (Judge), Torque D’or (Chief Restaurant Judge), Rimataka Forest Trust and the Hospitality, Retail and Service Sector Chamber of Commerce Committee Wellington. As an active supporter of Basketball, Adam remains a major sponsor of the Wellington Saints basketball team.
