Rob McIntyre - Advisory Council Member

With over 20 years Hospitality Management experience, Rob has held General Manager roles for 15 of those years. He has held senior management postings in New Zealand, Australia and Europe from large business event focused resort properties to pure corporate venues giving him broad experience across all relevant hospitality sectors. His recent roles have included Area Manager Accor Hospitality and Regional General Manager Accor Hospitality – New Zealand.

Rob has been working with the New Zealand Government since 2014 on the Master Planning of the Christchurch Convention and Exhibition Centre. He has been tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the centre meets the objective of attracting international business events to New Zealand and Christchurch.

He has twice won the New Zealand Hospitality General Manager of the Year and has held various board positions in the Hospitality industry.
